Ella McPherson

Ella began her career as a journalist, firstly working at the Shepparton News over school and university holidays and eventually taking on relieving editor positions with the Seymour Telegraph, Benalla Ensign and Cobram Courier.

Following a stint in consulting, Ella then worked across a wide range of agencies in the Victorian public service, including in those responsible for community development, health and human services, business and innovation, education and infrastructure.

Ella is currently the Deputy Commissioner at the Victorian Public Sector Commission and also has voluntary roles on the boards of Parkville College and Mercy Community Services and sits on the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership Audit and Risk Committee.

She has Masters qualifications in Communications, Business Administration and Law.
